Dear Friend,

We all want to be heard and seen, especially on the online world it seems. When a comment is posted on Reflections By Christina, we want it to be a place where discussions especially disagreements are conducted in a manner as gracious as possible. As we try to set a tone that allow for growth, positivity, and get know each other- we reserve the right to delete any comments and ban users as needed to keep the atmostpher civil and on track as possible.

Communicating in a manner that will allow for good discussions, learn from each other, and hopefully become good friends.

  • Our dear friends grammar and spelling: as you might or might not know spelling and grammar are not our strong suits, hence is why we ARE creatives. No doubt, we’ve already messed up. While we try hard to be grammatically correct and see that our spelling is spot on—-it goes without saying that we usually miss something. Spot a typo or an error? Let us know (preferable privately) and we’ll correct it as soon as possible…providing that it was obviously NOT done on purpose.
  • You have your own voice: there is a lot you have to say. Make sure that that what you have to say is how you want to be perceived. Your character of voice DOES define you. Share wisdom, clean humor, and intelligence we know you processed.
  • Share your thoughts on this subject! We love hearing how the topics can go even further because you are able to impart and add to it.
  • Angry and purposely “in the middle” People: Listen we all get upset. But let’s take a step back and not egg each other on. If there’s an issue, down vote and flag the comments and we will take from there.
  • Sharing brands, products, or blog: If it’s relevant to our conversations we have no issues sharing the wealth of informations from yourself or especially others. HOWEVER: if mindlessly promotioning your own brand (or others) , product, or blog that has zero common grounds with what we are talking about- that’s going to get a lot of people upset and quite possibly get you banished into a far away land. Have an idea for content…contact us and we’ll chat. 🙂
  • Staying the Course: we all go on rabbit trails once and a while. As long as said trail goes back to the original point and adding to it we don’t mind. After all we’re very good at that.;) However, completely taking it off its course is not cool. That’s calling for being photoshopped out or worse causing train wreck because we didn’t see ya at first. Do it again..and you’re banished (you guessed it to) to a far far away land.
  • Read, understand, then voice: There’s nothing worse than joining a conversation and it’s clear you didn’t read all the way down before injecting your thoughts. Let’s save you some embarrassment shall we? Read, understand, and then by all means join in. We welcome you…unless you veer off the course. In which case, see note above.

Keep in mind we are artists, most likely out in the fields doing what we love. As much as we hate to deal it when we come back…trust me it will be taken care as quickly as possible. These comments will land you into the banished land or at very least *photoshopped over:

  • Being someone you are not: Impersonating authors or other commenters is NOT okay. One sure fire way of getting artists angry is to put on a mask and try to steal someone else’s identity. Use your own name and have your own voice that’s who we are interested in anyways. If we find out you impersonated or stole someone’s else work not ONLY will you be banished on the spot, but you will also be reported to proper authorities.
  • There’s a difference between disagreeing to flat out being nasty: We do not nor never will tolerate threats — no matter how vague — against the author(s) or other commenters. You know us by now what will happen, but in case you didn’t. You are banished along with anyone else you may have roped into your devious scheme. The only chance of being able to come back is that you have rectified it with an apology and a clear message of your actions doing a 180 to being the incredible person that you are in adding, constructing amazing conversations, and encouraging others. If the threats are severe enough, they will be reported to authorities.

  • Racism, manipulation, sexism, cussing, and etc is can you guess it? 1000000% NOT allowed. If by chance, you stoop to this level which we hope you don’t; because you are much, much better than this- you have one chance to apologize. We want to create a beautiful culture here and sometimes that means retaining your punches for the punching bag not on here. Culture means diversity which case we learn from each other and try to see different points even if it means we disagree. This comes with a potential of one second chance available…use it wisely (not available for those who get feelings hurt easily or for those who are clearly out for a fight).
  • Trolling. See above for directions…this actually falls into that. But we wanted make this one extra clear: if you do this, we’ll be pushing you back under the bridge, rock, castle, or wherever you come from to be hopefully heard from no more.
