I can not tell you why, but I love this photograph. The carrying of bouquet of balloon daisies is unique. It made my night a bit lighter and upturned the corners of my lips. My imagination kicked into gear and I found myself wondering who were those balloons for? Perhaps someone gave them to her, or maybe it is a for a child? Where was she going? Lastly, is there anyway I can send something like that to home to a friend who happens to love this sort of thing?
If you haven’t figured it out, I love “imagining” things about people. Questionnaire stories to be precised such as where did she get such a beautiful bracelet. He looks dapper in that tie I wonder if he going to a business meeting perhaps his own business? Questions come of how long they have been made they look as if they understand the wisdom of love when I observe couples in their crowning glory days. Sometimes I even make up stories for fun, always positive, of people. I assign them names and give them an occupation. All the while knowing its fictional and the charade is over in a matter of moments never to again to resurface. This is called people watching. Apparently, it has been passed down generations and its one that I love to do. Just sit back and observe. Sometimes no thoughts come through and sometimes I just make up incredible stores of adventures, love, and encouraging actions. This is partly why I am a photographer- I’ve learned to ask the whys and the hows. The mystery that is there I tease through photographs wanting to open up a new world of possibilities.
Once more I turn my thoughts to the woman. My story for her long gone. But the memory of her walking down the metro path perhaps etched forever in my mind. How is it possible that in one second someone can change a life or a thought? How can one action change a view of the world in a different manner to find the positive and bring warmth by just carrying air-filled daisies?
By the way balloon art is a very real thing. I was researching for the name of when we twist balloons into shapes that we desire and I came across a balloon art website. If you love balloon art or just art in general check out Airigami. There are more I know, but I was impressed and wanted to share with you.
