Visit the local beaches of Holland
Come along with me on an adventure. Sense the texture, see color, and feel the age of time which makes for an interesting photograph. Breathe in the salty air and open to see this jewel. This particular one was created in Holland- Den Helder to be precise.
In fact, this piece is inspired by Chris Orwig’s book “Visual Poetry “. Side note here, I posted a link to his book so you can get inspired and also to give credit where credit is due…nothing more than that. We all get inspired by someone or something. I happen to be inspired by reading or watching someone work. I’m not sure what these doors are for, their purpose remains a mystery for now. Yet, as I look at them I see something very clear to me.
There are many doors we can choose, but we can only walk through one of them.
Indeed, many doors can be open at the same time. Many doors can be shut as well. But only one door can hold the ultimate decision. Only one is chosen at a time to walk through. Only one requires a follow through action.
Therefore, whenever you go to Holland, look at their doors. They have gorgeous ones. For their many things that they are known for, I think their craftsmanships of doors should be added to the list.
