This past Thursday, there was an incredible Wedding Experience hosted by Historic Southern Railway Station and coordinated by Always Yours Occasions, LLC. This open house allowed potential couples to experience first hand the behind the scenes of a wedding. From the flowers, hair, make-up, photography, catering, venue, wedding management, and ect. there almost every single detail that you could think of event wise there.
This was the second year that I was able to be apart of this particular event and I am so excited to work with them more. They’re so, so fun. In my case I was honored to do the up-dos for our models. One of my favorite things to do in my business is actually a stylized- photoshoot. The chance to do updos and photos is one of my favorite things to do. Thankfully, I have a great team who I get to work with and I couldn’t thank them enough for their hard work.
My favorite part of the whole thing was when I was able to steal the models away and take them on a tour of the train cars. Then again I love trains so of course I wanted to do a stylized shoot while I could. The make-up artist, Roses and Lace Make-up Artistry, came with us. I wished I could have gotten some shots of her, I just love watching people face’s light up when they see something that inspires them. I could see the wheels turn in her head.
Despite it being cold, end of the evening, tired feet, the models were troopers. Frankly, I think they had so much fun anyways. Who wouldn’t love a chance to dress up and meet people just for fun?
